I enjoy operating ham radio “Parkpeditions” and portable outings – gets me outside and out with great folks! I routinely operate with the NAQCC-FL CW QRP group; we usually operate in a park once a month on the third Friday. There may be 6 of us…there may be 2 of us…but it’s always fun! When I can I try to get to Sylvan Park in Sanford, FL with the Central Florida QRP Group that meets once a month on the fourth Saturday. I also participate in the Florida QSO Party every April with a group of friends as a “multi-multi-mixed-mobile” entry – and our group has finished 1st place in our category every year since 2012!
